Legal
Acceptable Use Policy
This policy sets out what you and your users may not do with Searchestra. It is a separate document that forms part of the Terms of Service.
1. Unlawful Activity
Do not use Searchestra to break the law, to help someone else break it, or to violate the rights of others.
2. Intellectual Property Infringement
Do not upload, generate or publish content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property rights, and do not use the Service to pass off someone else's brand as your own.
3. Malware
Do not upload or distribute viruses, malicious code or links to them, and do not use content generated by the Service to deliver them.
4. Credential Abuse
Do not use credentials that are not yours, share an account between people, guess or collect other people's passwords, or try to get around sign-in, multi-factor authentication or access controls.
5. Security Attacks
Do not probe, scan or attack the Service or other systems through it, overload it, or interfere with other customers' use. If you want to test our security, follow the process on our Security page.
6. Unauthorized Crawling
Do not add a website as your own unless you own it or are authorized to have it analysed, and do not use the Service to fetch content that is not open to the public or to get around a site's access restrictions.
7. Harassment
Do not use the Service to harass, threaten, defame or target a person, or to generate content that does so.
8. Fraud
Do not use the Service to deceive people: no fake reviews, no impersonation, no false claims about a product or a competitor, and no presenting AI-generated content as a statement by a real person who did not make it.
9. Sensitive-data Misuse
Do not submit special categories of personal data, such as health, biometric, religious or political data, or other highly sensitive personal information, unless your organization has an expressly approved arrangement with Searchestra. Do not use the Service to build profiles of private individuals.
10. AI Model Policy Violations
The AI providers behind the Service publish usage policies. Do not use the Service to generate content those policies prohibit, such as content that sexualises minors, promotes violence or self-harm, or helps make weapons.
11. Bypassing Provider Safety
Do not try to defeat the safety measures of an AI provider through the Service, for example with prompts written to bypass its safeguards or to extract its system instructions.
12. Automated Abuse
Do not automate the Service beyond what the API and your plan allow, create accounts in bulk, or run requests designed to exhaust limits or avoid them.
13. Resale and Scraping of Searchestra
Do not resell or sublicense the Service, offer it to third parties as your own service, or scrape the Service or its outputs to build a competing product, unless an agreement with Searchestra allows it.
14. Reporting and Enforcement
To report a breach of this policy, write to team@searchestra.com. If we find a breach, we may remove the content concerned or suspend access as the Terms of Service describe. We act in proportion to the breach and, where we can, tell you first.
